在这个视频中，魏泰德牧师分享了我们在耶稣里的美好盼望。
在帖撒罗尼迦前书4章13至18节中，我们读到：“论到睡了的人，我们不愿意弟兄们不知道，恐怕你们忧伤，像那些没有指望的人一样。我们若信耶稣死而复活了，那已经在耶稣里睡了的人，上帝也必将他们与耶稣一同带来。我们现在照主的话告诉你们一件事：我们这活着还存留到主降临的人，断不能在那已经睡了的人之先，因为主必亲自从天降临，有呼叫的声音和天使长的声音，又有上帝的号吹响，那在基督里死了的人必先复活。以后我们这活着还存留的人必和他们一同被提到云里，在空中与主相遇。这样，我们就要和主永远同在。所以，你们当用这些话彼此劝慰。”(帖前4:13-18)
这些话多么安慰人啊！当我们想到所爱之人在耶稣里安睡，我们就有平安与盼望，因为我们知道不久的将来我们会再相聚，永不分离！这是多么美好荣耀的应许啊！
与此同时，我们能拥有平安是因为我们知道，此时此刻，我们所爱之人他们只是睡着了，他们不再有痛苦、忧虑与挣扎。
在哥林多前书15章51至55节，保罗非常清楚地表明：耶稣再来的时候，那些在基督里死去的人以及那些在基督里活着的人，都将得到永生。经上记着说：“我如今把一件奥秘的事告诉你们，我们不是都要睡觉，乃是都要改变，就在一霎时，眨眼之间，号筒末次吹响的时候；因号筒要响，死人要复活，成为不朽坏的，我们也要改变。这必朽坏的总要变成不朽坏的(‘变成’原文作‘穿’。下同)，这必死的总要变成不死的。这必朽坏的既变成不朽坏的，这必死的既变成不死的，那时经上所记‘死被得胜吞灭’的话就应验了。死啊，你得胜的权势在哪里？死啊，你的毒钩在哪里？”(林前15:51-55)
愿我们永持盼望，因我们有上帝信实的道，这道中充满了这些宝贵的应许。我们在耶稣里安睡的亲人——无论是年轻的还是年老的，都会在不久的将来获得全新的、不朽的生命，那时，我们将和他们一起永远与主同在。在我们等候那复活大日到来前，愿这些话语激励我们，让我们长存盼望。

Hope The Wonderful Hope that Jesus Brings
In this video, Pastor Ted Wilson focuses on the wonderful hope that we have in Jesus.
We read in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18— “But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.”
What a comfort these words are! As we think of our loved ones who have gone to sleep in Jesus, we can have such hope and peace because we know that one day soon we will be reunited and will never have to say goodbye again! What a wonderful, glorious promise this is!
In the meantime, however, we can be at peace, knowing that for this present time, our loved ones are just asleep. No longer are they suffering, no longer are they worried, no longer do they have any struggles.
In 1 Corinthians 15:51-55, Paul sets out very clearly how one day, those who die in Christ, as well as those who are living in Him when Jesus comes, will receive the gift of immortality. We read: “Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed–in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: ‘Death is swallowed up in victory.’ ‘O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?’”
Let us never give up hope. For we have the sure word of God that is filled with these very precious promises! What a wonderful thought that our dear ones—young and old—who have died in Jesus, will one day very soon be given a new, immortal life and we will be forever with them and the Lord. May these words give us all hope and courage as we wait for that great resurrection day.
